Development of a New Analytical Method for Determining Pesticide Residues by Gas Chromatography-High Resolution Mass Spectrometry using the Zebron™ ZB-5MSPLUS™ Column

Abstract:

In this technical note, we show the capabilities of the Zebron ZB-5MSPLUS columns in separating residual pesticides by coupling GC with HRMS. We analyzed more than 200 real samples to evaluate the robustness of the chromatographic method and stationary phase on the Zebron ZB-5MSPLUS GC column. Different fruits and vegetables were tested. A selection of matrices were used here as an example including oranges, lemons, and bananas, to detect trace levels of pesticides in them.
