Digested Phosphorylase ß Peptide Map using Kinetex EVO C18 Core-Shell LC Column

Abstract:
Peptide mapping is a common technique used to characterize proteins by analyzing the elution pattern of peptide fragments. Once a protein is digested, it is analyzed via HPLC using either UV or MS detection. The greater the resolution of the digested protein’s peptide-fragments, the more accurately the protein can be characterized. By utilizing the powerful combination of a unique LC selectivity alongside the performance gains of a Coreshell particle, better identification and quantitation of low level peptides can happen. As shown below, the high-efficiency core-shell Kinetex EVO C18 results in narrow peak-shape allowing for highly-accurate peptide mapping.
