Ibuprofen from Human Plasma by Supported Liquid Extraction (SLE) and LC-MS/MS (TN-1242)
- Abstract:
- For a new generic drug product, several time points across multiple patient samples would be required for analysis to demonstrate bio-equivalence. These experiments are a significant undertaking for any company. In order to be effective, an efficient method with a short analysis time is highly preferred. We demonstrate an LC-MS/MS assay with a total run time of 2 minutes using Kinetex C18 2.6 μm, 50 x 2.1 mm column. The sample extraction with Strata DE supported liquid extraction 96-well plate is an automation friendly format, which is ideally suited for a bio-equivalence study.
