Rapid Extraction and Analysis of Natural and Synthetic Cannabinoids from Human Urine (TN-0118)

Abstract:

The analysis of synthetic and natural cannabinoids has emerged as an important routine test for forensic toxicology laboratories. In this application, we present an analytical testing method for an extracted human urine sample utilizing the polymeric Strata-X-C SPE chemistry in conjunction with a Luna Omega Polar C18 LC column. The sample preparation method demonstrates good recovery and cleanliness and with the LC-MS/MS method, good peak shape and sufficient separation of the isomeric counterparts of the analytes are displayed.
