Reference Analysis of Active Ingredients Betamethasone, Clotrimazole, and Gentamicin from a Topical Cream Formulation using a Kinetex® 2.6 µm Polar C18 HPLC/UHPLC Column

Abstract:

The active ingredients gentamicin, clotrimazole, and betamethasone are drug substances which can be formulated into topically administered creams. In this application, we investigated a reversed phase method that leveraged the dual selectivity of the Kinetex Polar C18 because of the differences in polarity and hydrophobicity between these three compounds.
