PFAS in Food and Food Packaging
- Abstract:
- It was recognized fairly early that PFAS compounds used in food packaging materials (such as pizza boxes and microwave popcorn bags) could migrate into consumable food products and contribute to increased PFAS body burden. Regardless of source, the analysis of PFAS in food and food packaging materials – and their myriad complex matrices - features additional difficult analytical challenges.
